We are very happy to announce the International FIFA 08 gamersNET Cup. Some of the best FIFA Players will participate in this outstanding tournament and they will fight for a price money of EUR 400.
Punctually before the Samsung Euro Championship in March in  Hannover begins, 32 FIFA-Players, which are the best in their country, will fight in a Invite-Tournament for the predominance in europe. We invited some of the best Players like  dignitas| Walkman (Winner SEC 2007),  NoA|Alexxx, 11Freunde | JiMmY, several Players from SK Gaming or the two swiss FIFA-heroes  Janthana and miro de niro. More invited Players will be announced next week.
The Invite-Tournament will be held from 5th to 24th February 2008 in two phases. In the Group Phase we have 8 groups with 4 players in it. The two players on top of each group will be able to play against the other winners of their group in a Single Elimination Best of three Playoff Mode until we have the Top Three.
But not only the FIFA-Stars have the chance to win this price money. Before the Main cup starts, we organize a Qualifier for additionally 32 Players from every country. The best 4 Players in this Double Elimination Qualifier can participate in the Invite-Tournament. The application for this Qualifier is open until next Friday, 18.01.08 at 20:00 PM. The Qualifier will be played within 2 weeks (20.01. - 3.02.08).
The Qualifier is open to all. For every Player who speaks english, there is a little "how to" about the registration on our site.

The How To:
Ok to get your account you just have to click on "Registrieren" on the upperleft side of this screen.
Than you put in your Nickname and your E-Mailadress and then you are ready to klick on "Eintragen". You will receive now an E-Mail with your Password and a link to activate your Account.
After you received the mail with the password you go on the site and login. After you logged in you can click on the small button on the left above the "ck" from "quicklinks"
This is the setup button. When you are in the setup you have to do the following things:
1. maybe you should change your password under "Passwort ändern" 1. Old Password 2. and 3. New Password
2. You have to put in your MatchupMaker Account by klickin the Button "MM FIFA" under "Spiele-IDs eingeben". The MM Nick comes in the field "Spiele ID" the field "Grund für Wechsel" can be ignored.
3. After your MatchupMaker-Entry you have to upload an avatar into your profil. Click in the control panel on "Profilbild ändern" and upload a picture of you (format 90x120).
4. At the end, you have to join the FIFA2008 Invite Tournament by klickin on "Liga beitreten (Einzelspieler)" and there you can select the International FIFA 08 gamersNET Cup. It is the same procedure for joining the Qualifier. Just simply select the Qualifier and not the Invite Cup.
5. If you want you can add some stuff like your name, your town or your birthdate by klickin the link "Profilangaben ändern"
