?Most of the people will know you as bsl so we start with the King of the questions: Who is bsl and how does he live?
!bsl is a 26 year old ex-professional gamer, now journalist and General Manager from Trondheim, Norway.

?You are the General Manager of the new formed Berlin Allianz, a Franchise for the Championship Gaming Series. How did you get the job as a CGS General Manager?
!I think I was mentioned, in a favorable context by some of the American GM's - this prompted the CGS to contact me to ask for my resume. This was in March. I sent it in and after some discussions I was offered the job and I accepted as I saw it as a big, and new challenge, for me in electronic sports.

?Do you have the players in your team you wanted, or did HeatoN pick up some players from your list before you could?
!I was very happy with how the draft turned out for Allianz.

?You won the European Championship in a very close game against Stockholm Magnetik. How do you see your chances to win the World Championships and which games are your strong and your weak ones?
!I think we stand a fighting chance of doing well over there and I'm hoping the preparations and time the players put in is sufficient. Our goal is always to win, time will show if we can achieve that.

?You received a lot of bad comments for your decision to pick NoA instead of fnatic. In the game against Stockholm your NoA Boys won their game and with that they also won the overall score for you. How satisfied have you been after getting so many bad reactions on that pick?
!That stuff has been blown completely out of proportion. It was never an issue for me that I was more happy because they won after the unjust criticism they received - that was a lot more valuable for them than for me, I those them in the first place after considerable amounts of thinking and I knew it was controversial and that it'd attract a lot of haters. Still I was comfortable with be choice before the game against Stockholm, I was comfortable with it after the game against Stockholm and I'm comfortable with it three weeks before the world championships in Los Angeles.

?Do you like CS: Source? If not, would you like to see a change in the CGS from CS: Source to CS 1.6 or maybe CS: ProMod?
!The problem with the whole situation Source vs 1.6 is that people that has played 1.6 for a long time try Source and find that it is different from what they have come to love. When they then go back to play 1.6 they find it's better and start whining at Source for not being the same game with better graphics. To appreciate the fact that they are indeed two different games with many of the same features and characteristics players need to give the other game a chance by not playing them at once - only then can a 1.6 player, after weeks or a month of JUST Source, appreciate it for its good features.

I have done this and I'm happy to say I can enjoy 1.6 but I can also enjoy Source as a game to play.

?You saw at the World Cyber Games in Seattle a lot of DoA and PGR Players. Finpro (Out in the Group Stage) and The Tactical (Top 8) from Berlin Allianz also competed in the tournament. How happy are you with their performances and what do you think about our Swiss PGR Driver rolfu, or did'nt you even notice him (He got the fourth place)?
!I think it was good for both of them to be gain competitive experience. The format of the WCG differs from the one that the CGS is using, which they had practiced for the combine and EU championships, and I'm sure they feel they weren't able to play to the very best of their abilities as of the short time to prepare. No competitive person should be happy with the placements they got and I'm also sure they are using it towards building themselves up for better performances in Los Angeles.

It's great that the Swiss driver did so great - why was he not at the CGS
combine?

?You are known for being a very successful Counter-Strike player in the past and as a writer for Gotfrag.com. What is the better job in your opinion: Being a player or being a manager and writer?
!As with everything both has it's unique and great features - I enjoyed being a professional player and I enjoy what I do now, there's enough people in this world that goes through life not looking forward to going to work so I am very content and happy with looking forward to working every day.

? Where do you see the future of eSports? What is needed to have united leagues, associations, rules for the games and so on? Or is the actual situation with different tournaments and leagues with different rules good enough?
!I have no good answer to this question - predicting eSports is one of the most difficult things I think - if I look back to when I got started 6-7 years ago there is no way I could imagine the opportunities it has given me and the things I have been lucky enough be a part of. I just hope cooler heads will prevail so the development of the sport can continue forward.

?What do you know about eSports in Switzerland? Do you know any players, organizations or maybe Counter-Strike teams?
!I have seen the teams, and even played them on occasion - and I won so I was happy about that. I hope your scene can continue to develop, we need everybody and every country we can get on the international stage.
