Because Portugal left the group all our matches versus them were deleted. This resulted in a second place in the poule in sted of the number one position. We had to play one more match for the finales.. but we lost against Germany so we were out.
This result wasn't enough for a place in de finales. But when I heard the WCG UK would be @ the same time, I hoped that we could go in sted of UK and my hopes came true when I heard from a admin that UK couldn't go to the finales so that we proceeded as number 2 in our group.
The first thing what I did was tell my team, so that we could prepare ourselves for the finales. Because we hope we can play some good matches.. And let the people see that the Netherlands are back in town en are gonna kick ass :P |

Many weeks of hard work and a bit luck brought us to the finals. The lan competition will start soon and we are on the right way with our current team. Most of the other nations are on holidays or vacation, like me the past few days. With some fresh new strength it will go further in august. I hope that we are able to hold our level and are on the big podest when the finals are over. |

I'm very excited about our team's achievements so far, it's a great team, and we've had good games against good opponents. The LAN Final opponents are a bit of question marks to me at the moment, as to what comes to how tough they are. And as there are still 2 slots open for the playoff winners, I'm anxious to see who we're facing in the finals. We're starting to practise with our LAN team and I wish all the best luck to every team. |

I believe the Finals of ENC will be a great event with lots of surprises and Greece will be one of them. We were the outsider but as in the Euro 2004, with hope and a lot of practise our guys made it and won 4 matches with much ping. So, Greece make it and get into the Finals of Electronic National Championship. The Players will do every day training and i hope one bootcamp will increase their skill. We hope to have a good game and most of all HAVE FUN. |
